2 Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Erg Chebbi Merzouga Itinerary:
DAY 1: FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA
Your two-day desert tour will start and end in Marrakech. At 8am we will start the tour from your accommodation or wherever you are in Marrakech. During your trip to the desert, you'll get to see the Atlas Mountains. Then we will visit Ait Ben Haddou's Kasbah and the surrounding Berber villages.
We will continue to the Skoura oasis, passing through the valley of the rose, before reaching the Erg Chebbi sand dunes and the Merzouga desert camp. Where you will spend the night. You have the option of riding a camel to watch the sunset on the day of our arrival or the next morning to watch the sunrise.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA TO MARRAKECH ONLY
You can wake up early to watch the sunrise from the large dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast, we will begin our return visit to Marrakech.
Crossing Rissani, Ziz valley, visit some Berber villages on the way back to Ouarzazate. We will have an hour to spare for lunch in Ouarzazate, after which you will have the option to visit the Kasbah of Taourit. We will then return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains.
